SECRET CITY GARDEN
Blooming Bluff is a secret garden nestled in the middle of downtown Dubuque, situated at the base of a 75 ft. bluff. Guests are greeted by a 100+ year old trumpet vine with coral-orange blooms which float above a stacked limestone wall. Upon entering you are greeted with perennials, annuals, shrubs and many planters juxtapose the natural beauty of this urban oasis. Mature trees towering over one side provide additional seclusion.

DIRECTIONS - Take Locust St and turn left onto Loras Blvd. Turn left onto Bluff St. Across from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque.

SPIRIT OF MOTHER EARTH
Perched high on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, this garden is situated in a historic neighborhood of old Dubuque. Like its Victorian architecture, the garden reflects Mother Nature at her best.

DIRECTIONS - Head South on Bluff and turn right onto W 12th St. Turn right onto Grove Terrace, and then turn left onto Highland Place.

WESTMINSTER MISSION GARDEN
Our gardens provide nutritious vegetables for those that do not have the means to purchase them. Area food pantries tell us their needs and we plan our gardens accordingly. We showcase best practices for growing
a variety of vegetables, composting, mulching, staking and using trellises to grow vertically. You may also enjoy walking the Native and Pollinator gardens we have incorporated into our grounds that help make all the “magic” happen.

VICTORIA’S SECRET GARDEN
Nestled in the cul-de-sac of Victoria Place is a modest yard with a plethora of color and whimsical charm. Garden beds surround the outside and inside perimeters of the property with a variety of perennials for both shade and sun. Gardening has always been in Pam’s blood, growing up as the youngest member of Christensen’s Greenhouse family.

DIRECTIONS - Head SE toward Loras Blvd and take 2nd exit onto N Grandview Ave. Turn right onto Plymouth Ct and turn left onto Victoria St.

A MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR
You’ll be greeted by the Rose of Sharon and a floral array
along the sidewalk of perennials and shrubs. Then meander through trellises of wandering vines of clematis and honeysuckle. Descend down to a Venus bird bath surrounded with a hexagon of flowers. An Amaranth tree and weeping Norway Spruce will guide you to the scene of nature’s magic and mystery into a woods below with wild flowers & hydrangea. A patio space with two small, three-tiered fountain pools is surrounded by hydrangea and perennials.

HILLTOP VIEW GARDENS
Located on two acres, Hilltop View Garden contains seven flower gardens with a variety of perennials, annuals, and shrubs. Amidst the mature landscape surrounding the home, several patio areas provide a haven for relaxation. Enjoy the many beautiful potted flowers, hanging baskets, and water fountain on the patio. Working together, this mother and daughter have created perennial beds that provide color that lasts from spring through autumn.
